Pictures taken along Wasdale
I had a
long weekend up in Santon Bridge near Wasdale, staying at
the Santon Bridge Inn - they did a 3 night deal £100 B&B for
two people. That's good value while the weather was fine.
The plan was to enjoy a few small walks around the northern
fells as well as having a play with my camera. I was very
fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and
caught a magnificent sunset over Wasdale Head. To say I was
pleased with the outcome was an understatement, which is why
I've included it here in the Lake District walk section.
The only downside was that I don't have a tri-pod so all the
shots are handheld and not the sharpest of images - but I
don't mind really.
Yewbarrow, Great Gable, Lingmell and the Scafells
the right place and time - wow
volcanic
I think I got the filter upside down for this one
I could stare at the view all day when it's like this

taken from the YHA grounds
a bit calmer the next night
